Orthosis for syndactyly of the 3rd and 4th fingers, in thermoformable at low temperature. Suitable for a baby
They are made to measure in thermoformable plastic at low temperature. The molding is therefore done directly on the patient, they perfectly match his morphology. So they are very comfortable.
The material is thin, from 1.6 mm to 3.2 mm, the orthosis is compact and light.
They are held in place by a Velcro closure system, so they are removable and allow maintenance of personal hygiene and discontinuous wearing if prescribed.
The orthoprosthetist knows the materials, molding techniques, pathologies, anatomy. He also knows the optimal positioning to immobilize the anatomical segments concerned and thus guarantee the best possible recovery.
Digistrap syndactyly orthoses / splints
These splints allow the immobilization of the fingers in dynamic syndactyly. They work like strapping by reattaching the painful finger to a valid finger. Several sizes are available depending on the immobilized finger. Their elasticity makes it possible not to immobilize the finger too strongly, it will be able to regain its natural movement more quickly during rehabilitation. They are indicated in minor trauma to the fingers and are recommended in sports recovery.
